How do you deal with others while maintaining the internal calm of the mind?
1. Friendliness towards the happy person
2. Compassion for the unhappy person
3. Delight in the virtuous - there is enough success and happiness in the world for all
4. Neutrality towards those whose values are not in line with your own. Neutrality does not mean indifference. One must possess inner calm to act out against cruelty and be grounded in ones beliefs.
