Yoga and Movement
My exploration in to the world of yoga began in 2006, and I have been teaching yoga and movement classes since I returned from northern India in 2009. My desire to learn more about the body through Yoga, Pilates and dance has led me to realize that movement is what is important. It does not matter what you call it. I offer Private Yoga and Movement Therapy sessions, as well as Group Sessions customized to my student's needs. My practice is lighthearted and there is always room for curiosity.
If you have never tried Yoga before, a private session is the best way to learn proper alignment and gain confidence!

SESSIONS ARE HELD AT THE LOCATION OF YOUR CHOICE (i.e. house-calls, offices, events)
Yoga Therapy Private Session
​Yoga is so multifaceted and has such a rich history; many teachers find it difficult to distil a complex practice into an hour-long class.

My goal is to give my students the opportunity to design their own practice and customize it for their bodies and minds. We will combine mind, body and spirit to create a holistic practice that is sustainable for you based on:

​• personal goals for your practice
• past injuries or illnesses
• emotional traumas
• mental blocks

The best part? With my out-call service, you don't even have to leave your living room. All you have to provide is a space and your yoga mat.
Movement Therapy Private Session
Yoga can be very intimidating. It has a reputation for great flexibility and strength. Everything seems to be "yoga" these days. Aqua-yoga, acro-yoga, yolates, yoga therapy, destination yoga, flying yoga, power yoga... It's all very trendy.

But it really does not matter what you call it. Movement is the goal. If you are not interested in yoga, but you are interested in movement to increase strength and flexibility, this is the perfect practice for you.

Together, we will establish your goals for a movement practice, whatever that may be. We will talk about the importance of movement for the health of the joints and the mind, and establish a practice that is simple and easy to do every day.

Vinyasa Yoga Classes
Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic method of practicing asana. In this class we flow from one pose to the next in a logical sequence, each pose complimenting the last and providing momentum towards the next. All of my classes are heavily based in alignment and anatomy, and each class has a philosophical or emotional theme. Don't be surprised if you learn something new!

This is a strong, powerful, practice where breath and movement are synchronized, creating heat in the body. Heat has the potential to be strenuous for some, so it is of vital importance that you stay in tune with your body, listening to what it needs, and making changes when necessary.

In this class, you will build endurance, strength, flexibility, and mental clarity.
